STORY
It is January 1927 and Rosabella the waitress discovers that she has been left an amethyst encrusted tie pin as a tip. Attached is a note from Tony Esposito from Napa Valley, California, where he lives with his sister on a grape ranch. After writing to each other, Rosabella sends a picture of herself and asks for one in return. Tony, fearing he will be ditched for his older age and looks, sends a photo of his foreman Joe instead. Rosabella agrees to Tony's forthcoming proposal of marriage and flies out to meet him. Of course, she is expecting Joe, so things don't work out as smoothly once she arrives.
